Kristinas 50th color challenge

Hi everyone. Today I am posting a card I made for Kristina Werners 50th color challenge. I love her blog and she has an amazing talent that I admire. For her 5oth celebration she is giving away some fabulous prizes and so I thought I haven't participated in awhile what better reason. The colors this week were yellow, brown, red, white and turqoise. I really loved working with this color combo and I will have to try it again for some scrapbook pages in the future.

Fun michaels purchase

Happy Firday everyone! SO usually I go into michaels needing something specific for a project but this week I just went in because they were having a great sale and I thought I would pick somethings up if I saw anything interesting. WELL as you can see I found a lot . The titles on the right are by me and my big ideas and they were over by the stickers but they are decorated chipboard with sticky on the back. They were 1.19 each so of cousre I had to get a TON. the other packs are various but I LOVe the firefighter one. Soft spokens were 40%off and I love them because you can make a scrapbook page of a project with one of these and a piece of paper and your pictures and you don't have to think about a thing. You just slap it on and it looks great and put together. The other two items the distress ink and acrylic letters I just saw and both were on sale also so I thought I would pick them up. Well thanks for looking at my purchase. I can't wait to show you what I make with them.

similar card different theme

I made this card very similar to the b day card I showed you all yesterday. This card was for a baby shower a few weeks ago and these are the room colors and the bedding is an argyle patttern so this matched nicely. Enjoy the rest of your saturday.

Hubbys birthday card

Happy friday everyone! Toady I am posting my husband birthday card. His birthday was on wednesday. I love the bright colors next to the kraft and brown. I think everything really pops. Have a great weekend!!!
