getting ready for christmas

I love making gift tags! I think they finish off a gift. I like to do a plain bag or wrap and then use pretty ribbon and a cheerful tag. These were so easy. I made a bunch on the cricut and then just took some scrap christmas paper and a few punches and stamps and there you have it. What are you doing to get ready for christmas???

November Card Club

hi bloggers! Just wanted to share some pictures from our card club this month. The hostess did a great job of giving us all different types of cards for various occasions. We had a lovely dinner and a lot of fun chatting and crafting.

I haven't had a chance to post these pics so I wanted to do it today before we head to tahoe again this week. We love tahoe and love to go in the summer. The weather is perfect and its so relaxing. In July is the celebrity pro am at edgewood and we have gone the last few years. This year we were able to meet one of my football idols Troy Aikman. He was so sweet to take a picture with our family. We made sure we were all in our cowboys gear. You can tell I was so excited I started to cry so I was just trying to get thru this picture before the tears came.

Good morning everyone and happy summer. Hope you are enjoying the nice weather and having some fun. We have been busy camping, boating , swimming and trying to stay cool. Card Club

Hello Bloggers! Last week was card club at my house. I love getting together with the girls and making cards and just visiting. It is very relaxing to me and I just really enjoy it. I tried to have a more masculine theme to the cards. It seems as though I always have cards around for female birthdays etc but none for males so I tried to give them a manly touch. What do you think? Hope you enjoy looking at them all.

Hello bloggers! This week along with finishing card club projects I decided to try some tag ideas. Tags are a nice way to add something to a plain giftbag or to a bottle of wine just to dress it up a little. Tags are the perfect size to run thru the cuttlebug with embossing folders so I gave it a try with the few examples I have here. I need to experiment some more but I like the way they turned out. This last week I have been busily getting ready for card club at my house next wednesday. I didn't want to show the fronts of the cards to give any clues but everything is ready, cut and set to go. I did make a few cards however that weren't for card club I wanted to share. The first card is based on a card made by Kristina werner last week for her year in cards segment on two peas in a bucket. I like how my card turned out but I think Kristinas color sceme was better. The second card is just from scaps I had left over from toher cards. Still turned out cute I thought.Hope you all have a great week. I have more crafting to do this week and more softball games to attend.
